This collection is an elevated reflection of our pearlescent beaches, our golden sun and our indigenous heritage. We’ve paid homage to our roots through a Modern Caribbean Style with the Cala Collection.
The name “Cala” was inspired by the Calamus Rotang plant species; a plant native to the jungles of Africa and Asia. These are countries which have heavily influenced the West Indian culture, thus reflecting in the traditional materials used for furniture making.
We’ve implemented a caning feature into every Cala piece. Caning has long been used in traditional, colonial furniture pieces. In extracting this material and combining it with Maple Wood, Gold Finished Aluminum, and linear forms, we’ve created a Modern Caribbean Style.
